Do Me Bad Things-Yes
Do Me Bad Things are a flamboyant nine piece soul-metal band that share the same label as (URGH!) The Darkness! So you can expect them to be loud, sleazy and a tad ridiculous. But thats what makes them a unique band. Comparisons include Scissor Sisters being beaten to death by Motley Crue and The B-52's drinking in a cheesy jazz bar whilst heckling Iron Maiden. Now, there's one to bend your minds around. The album starts off very strongly with the two catchy singles "Time For Deliverence" and "Whats Hideous" however the rest of the album leaves you wondering why they don't let super singer Chantel Brown take lead vocals the whole time as the singing from the male section sounds at best cheesy pub-rock. The thought of this album really wants to make you hate it to death but it's impossible not to sing along or jiggle your wiggle. Expect two more singles and probably top 10 success. Summer soundtrack compilations await.
